Ethiopia and Djibouti have discussed Monday ways to scale up their longstanding economic and trade ties, according to Ethiopian Embassy in Djibouti.  

A delegation led by Amb. Taye Atske-Selassie, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, arrived in Djibouti Monday for an official visit and held extensive discussions with his Djiboutian counterpart, Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The high-level talks focused on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing key regional issues.

They also discussed ways of scaling up mutual interest in the economy and trade, as well as facilitating port services.
